Still Life: A Love PoemA Poem by Bee Oxford
Our keys hang on hooks in the wall
Our shoes cuddle by the door Our clothes mingle on the floor Our dishes soak in the sink Foreign authors lean on unexpected shoulders on a shelf Your soap looks so comfortable in my soap dish Every day I find us Plainly painted perfectly In a still life And I smile sweetly to myself
