Nightmare

This has nothing to do with anything, but I'm hungry.

Nights go by, I lay in restless slumber

Images taunt my mind, as I struggle to awake.

Giants, ogres, fairies, and prices; what I wish to see

Hidden within the vivid scenes that dance behind my lids.

Time never moves, it’s at a stand-still in the

Making of this noise escaping from my lips

Atrocious, and loud; it sounds more like something else.

Rummaging through the mind, as thoughts become dim,

Encompassed by that sleep again, as another starts.
