Suicide Jump

Take my hand this is the end. You will always be my friend.

On the count of three, let's jump of the edge

No more standing on the teetering ledge

Just take my hand and trust me right

Let's now go where there is no light

We'll plummet to the bottom, hit the ground

Search for something that isn't lost, find something found

A treasure buried within, within our hearts

Beyond what we feel, all those broken parts

Let the wind fly through our hair

Let's give them a scare

It's you and I, we're against the worst

And this jump, well it hasn't been the first

One foot off the cliff end, for both of our sakes

We're going to taunt mother nature, play with our fates

The next foot off, and now the drop

There's nothing left for them to stop

We're falling down, quickly to the end

But we know,  there's nothing we can mend

We're getting to the bottom, no longer shall we suffer

We'll know love through pain, in that we're tougher

And if in the end, we do not die

We know that this was not a lie

That we were made for each other, and that is victory

Maybe we'll go down in history

For I am yours, and you are mine

And through this suicide jump, our love is divine

It's not so much suicide as the jump for freedom.
I'm not suicidal, though I may have been when I wrote this. It's been many months since I've thought about it seriously.
