R.I.P. Barron Gage

Taken from us October 22, 2011. He will forever be remembered.

And though we may part, today for now and ever

Remember that we shall meet, on the very edge of forever

Time being so short, it shouldn't have happened this way

Now you've left us here wondering what happened day after day

A good friend to many, we cannot believe you're gone

After so many good jokes, and now in black and camo we don

For those who knew you, we know you were the greatest friend

And we only wish you peace, 'til we join you in the end

Salute to those who remember, your dedication to the ROTC

At school, out of school, for our country to be free

So now we say goodbye, as we stand hand and hand together

R.I.P Gage Barron, we will be with you for now and forever

And for those of you who do not know. Gage was taken by suicide. He couldn't take being teased day after day by students, and by teachers. The pressure was too much. He will forever be missed by those who care. <3

That's a terrible way to go...and so many people....these days going in that way...then again...this is the effect of bullying. People didn't know what it was like to walk in his shoes. They would never understand how they felt...losing friends this way...it's hard on anyone...*sighs* I can relate to this poem...I just wish he will rest in peace forever....now he knows he won't be tortured...or bullied or harassed..
