Honey And The Bee

Honey And The Bee

A Chapter by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

" 'Cause when the stars silouette me, I'm scared they'll forget me; and flicker out." - Owl City - Honey And The Bee

"

Having the greatest time of our lives, dancing in sunshine

Outward screams the child, that lies within ourselves

Nets for butterfly catching, feeling free as birds

Every smile played upon our faces, a new delight

Years washed off the stature of us, once again we're children

And as we danced through fields of green, taking chances we'd left behind

Nearer grew the everlasting sunset, the ending of this perfect day

Dear as thoughtful as it seems, it cannot last forever as we want it to

The days must end, where the sun shines bright in true

Hues being red, yellow, pink, purple and blue

Every single sight shall be a pleasing to the eyes, see it through

Bed-time now, we rest our heads down in the soft meadow grass

Energetic laughs have now quieted to secret giggles, and sweet stories

Emotional ending to this perfect day, to start again tomorrow

Author's Note

Miss Marie Riorden.
I love songs that have hidden meanings within them. Which Owl City is a master at.
