Whiskey Lullaby

Whiskey Lullaby

A Chapter by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

"Clinging to his picture for delight..." - Whiskey Lullaby - Brad Paisley & Allison Krauss

"

Withering away, without her touch

He longs to hold her close

Indebt with himself, the blame he presses

Something the alcohol covers very morose

Key to his heart, lost within the bottle

Every sip like tears of pain, pouring from his eyes

Year after year, he suffered his fate

Lost in the bars, she longs to be held

Ultimately blaming herself, and the whiskey
Lilting is the voice, she sings the lullaby

Lovingly sang, too bad it had to end

And under the willow, both she and him are buried
Between sorrow and guilt, and unfound love
Years have passed,  they remain together now
