A Chapter by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

*sighs*

"

Asphyxiation from being away from you, or so I thought

Leaving me was funny, wasn't it?

Even when you saw the hurt in my eyes, the unshed tears

X-ray of my heart, it would leave it broken

And knowing you didn't care, you just left me behind

Never will I make that mistake again, I promise

Didn't think it was a mistake at the time, now I know

Every day without you is worse, I'm finally slipping

Reverence is needed, for I cannot stand this

Maybe if you'd taken more time to see me, for me

If that's possible, apparently it's not

Cheating on me with her, or was it the other way around

Having to play with my heart, and hers is still in tact

After all this, I can't find it in my heart to hurt you

Ego seems to be most important to you, you know

Let's see how long you last if I were to tell her of this

Loose ends on the heart strings, I wouldn't do that

Even if you made me mad, it's not how I work

Eavesdrop on my conversations, you'll hear how much I care

Invisible to you now, it doesn't matter anyways

Really I was never important to you, was I?

Wanting to be with you, something I knew was wrong

Impossible, but still I tried harder than I should have

No one should know of this, that was the promise

My heart breaks reading your poems. But, they're so good acrostics, I want to keep reading.

I'm going to address this right now. I do take Read Requests, but that DOES NOT mean you need to RR me everything you write. And I do not read stories unless it's of my own free-will. So do not RR the.. more..
