Writer's Block

Writer's Block

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

...

"

Hours and hours, spent on wasting

Time consuming, stupid letters

Won't fit together, form words of sense

To put together, in perfect harmony.

Cramming it all, it doesn't make sense

I can't do this, make the words write

So easy, like I was once able to

Create poetry, like it was nothing.

They say line breaks matter, where you place them

To fit the way it flows, and the ways you see it

As something you can relate to, maybe relate to

The things that I write, when they come out.

I can't figure it out, the pen seems to stop

It's ink has run out, and won't write anymore

Words that I'd like to say, like to speak

Out of the mouth they come, spilling all over this page

It's flow has seemed slow, trickling slowly to a stop

That can be reversed, if you just try

Harder to make it work, make someone see

That you can do this, defeat Writer's Block

Very cool... like braking through a barrier with a hammer of words...the flow is amazing.
