Broken Will.A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.Sorrow encases the broken, the girl who lost her will Who finally stopping trying, letting choking tears spill The laugh, the smile, the act was just drilled Something that has caused the soul to finally be killed She couldn't try anymore, she lost the spirit of herself It's thrown away with her heart, on the beaten, dusty shelf So shredded and shattered into pieces, it's past any recognition The blood flows from her pain, flesh giving her permission Faster, faster, red pours from the once pale skin Day by breaking day, the veil grows thin Façade breaks apart, leaving tears of hopeless effort Shattered in the reflection of the mirror, sanity finally left her There's nothing left to be, nor will there ever exist Then a broken girl who tried, killing by the razor kissed Upon the veins of her very heart, gave up to soon Traded her life to stop the suffering, rising up above the moon © 2011 Miss Marie Riorden.Author's Note
