Abused Addiction

Abused Addiction

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Hmm, I remember why I wrote this very well.

"

I wait and I shift around, twitching in my seat
Hoping that one day, this addiction I will beat
It's caused my eyes to dance around
And made my feet jump of the ground
And these full bottles keep emptying out
Leaving me crying, pleading, in a silent shout
It's an urge that I cannot try to deny
By the way they make me feel, this wretched high
I'll wait and I'll wait until I can try them again
On these medicated drugs I depend
Though I try to stay away from them
It looks like this is my life, a drug's condemn
This empty devoid of what I have built
Where the world's perspective starts to tilt
And all the medication that is buzzing through my veins
It's imprisoning me here in it's addictive chains
With each one I take, It's a dependency
But only making me look with indecency
I slowly get up and sneak another
I'll pretend I'm sick, what I tell mother
Making me shoot up another pill
Not ever satisfying this need to fill
I can say this now with absolute conviction
This is what we call my Abused Addiction

I'm going to address this right now. I do take Read Requests, but that DOES NOT mean you need to RR me everything you write. And I do not read stories unless it's of my own free-will. So do not RR the.. more..
