Dear Agony, Dear Pain

Dear Agony, Dear Pain

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Breaking Benjamin- Dear Agony <3

"

Dear agony, dear pain
I am sitting in the rain
Waiting for love to come and save me
Under this old oak tree
You have caused my tears that fall
And also my will to always stand strong
I thank you my agony
For bringing me all this misery
Making me feel like my heart is ripped wide
And showing me that I am tossed aside
I thank you for this my dear pain
For you are making me all but sane
You both play your pretty little game
Because you know it's only giving me fame
And keeping me from going insane
Going down this broken lane
I thank you sweet agony
For slowly and finally breaking me
Bit by tiny bit
Hurting me with every little hit
I'm thanking you my lovely pain
For this hurt that you have made me obtain
Because you always know what's best for me
Never letting these chains go free
I will always be sitting under this old oak tree
For my wonderful agony and amazing pain, you see
