Just For You

Just For You

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Wouldn't you save someone just to hide yourself ?

"

And I cover my wrists
To hide scars almost healed
I'm so ashamed of what i've become
With this life i've been dealed

I'll hide the tears I cry
I won't ever let you know
I'm suffering more and more each day
How did I ever get this low ?

And I know you think i'm alright
Because I tell you that every day
Did you ever consider that it's a lie ?
And the threads of my sanity have started to fray

I'll keep lying, just to keep you unaware
Don't worry about me, i'm not that important
All these excuses I tell, just for you
No I won't tell you the truth, I just can't

And while my tears soak the floor
I'll still smile, but just for you
My wrists are bleeding out every tear
There's nothing left that you can do
