Stupid Butterflies

Stupid Butterflies

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Should I go for it , or not ?

"
And it's so hard to understand
These stupid little butterflies
That flutter around in my tummy
And make me blush all the time

I smile and I laugh, why do I do this ?
Didn't I say to myself, I won't fall again !
Because falling should hurt me
And I don't really want that

I try to stop it, time after time
But I'm entranced by your laugh
And the way you make me feel
I can't stop it now, not at all

You've got me at your feet
Surprised to say the least
And I don't want to really tell you
That I might just be at your control

So i'll cage the butterflies, to the best of my ability
And i'll still laugh at you, maybe try to stay
But should I fall for you, fall for you like this ?
Or isn't it just as dumb as what we call love ?

Miss Marie Riorden.
Does it look wrong without a rhyme pattern , does it flow right ?
