I May Not Be An Angel , I May Not Be A Devil

I May Not Be An Angel , I May Not Be A Devil

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Who says everyone has to be one thing or another , I want to defy that rule and be something no one has seen

"

I may not be an angel
My wings may be one too short
My halo is maybe crooked
And clouds may be my fort

I may not be a devil
My horns shine way too bright
My eyes blue instead of red
And black is turned to light

I just might be an angel
One nice and sugar sweet
Wings so white they glow like light
My kisses being one's treat

I just might be a devil
One straight from the pits of hell
With eyes like coal, a demonic glow
Casting upon you my evil spell

I'm definantly not an angel
My wings burned in the flame
I ran away from the alter
In tears, fear, and shame

I'm definantly not a devil
The flames of hell scorched me
Forever stuck between Heaven and Hell
Not even close to ever being free
