And You Finally Left

And You Finally Left

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

No, the title doesn't really appear in the poem . It's just implied . But just another random poem for those who know what went down

"

I stare down that empty road
My gaze so pain-filled, so hurt
Watching you leave me without that doubt
Falling to my knees crying, in the dirt

I ask myself why, why you did this
As each tear hits the sun-baked ground
How can the sun still even shine ?
When my whole world has come unwound

My head screaming you were my everything
I can't live without you, I can't stand it
The sobbing breaths not pausing to help me
You were the only one who didn't treat me like s**t

I walk around now, my head not down to earth
Thinking of what I did, or what I could've done
What had caused you to turn your back on me
What had you gained, what had you won ?

Now when people look to me, it's just a shell
My emotionless face has every lie to tell
And this look that shows so down and fell
My heart is trapped in an unloving cell

I've turned into a zombie, or so they say
Walking around , like no one ever cared
I'll be this way, for now, maybe for always
Until my heart finds love that is once shared

Miss Marie Riorden.
This was me . . Sad to say, the other day . And I don't know what to think of it . Except maybe I need to work things out .
