My Last Day

What would you do if you had one day to live ?

If I had one more day to live
You ask me what I'd do
I could not tell you what I'd do
For I have not lived that day
Would you find enemies that made you cry
Or perhaps the old friends that you had
If you had money would you give it away
Or be selfish and keep everything to yourself ?
If I were to die tomorrow
I would have several things to regret
So many things I have not done before
My line in life cut short
If you were to die tomorrow
Would you do me the same grace ?
Try and find me for one last hour
Or leave me behind, as you are, a coward
I would like to know
That for once the world could have peace
Even though it would mean a threat of violence
To get the world back in order
One day to live
To take it or leave it
I would like to call it my last day
Of a last chance of hope
