As my minds strays away
From this world I have known
My body starts to numb
And tunes out the boring tone
I watch my eyes start to droop
And my head start to fall
And I leave my body there
In a favor for the hall
I travel mindlessly through this dream
I am my subconscious, my subconscious is me
I take one last look at this pitiful body
Of the hurt girl with pain in her eyes, who wants to be free
It seems she is imprisoned to this life of hers
Because she never tries to fight, to rebel against we
And these chains that have shackled her, rub against her soul
And they won't ever let her be
Because this is what I see
When I look at this girl in front of myself
She is the sleeping embodiment of who I am
And she has finally started abusing herself
She stirs and I start to feel
This dragging pull, bringing myself back to her
I struggle against this unknown force
And hear the bell chiming, an unwilling lure
As I return to my body , this hurt and scared girl
I whisper words inside her ears , her greatest fears
Then I disappear completely
Leaving her waking up to tears
