Drowning

Drowning

A Poem by Miss Marie Riorden.
"

Just somethin I figure I could spare to add.

"
She's slipping, tripping;
Falling over lost memories.
Slithering snakes of pictures,
Caressed in empty silence.
Acceptance of a nameless
Face, traced, with
No where to go.
Only to disappear,
Held under imaginary waters.
Waves, tides, pulling
Further and further awaay.
I cannot swim,
I'm losing, gasping for the
Things I cannot remember.
And never again shall I
Surface into reality.
For I only drown in my
Own mind.
