Betrayal

Stripped bare for all to see
Ripped to shreds in cruel mockery
Just like a poisoned chalice
Minds were drugged
A harsh literary of lies spoken in malicious words
Inevitable treason sentenced against undivided loyalty
To be pushed aside
Watching with fractured hope
And as once more the knife is twisted in my back
I wonder if the months wasted were really worth it
