Goodbye

And so it is we must say goodbye
What small piece of my dying heart the still beats
Must now be shattered...that flame burnt out
The endless ripples of love forced to end

But know this my love
For you I will always fight
And when love is not enough to see you through lonely nights
Think of our child you have nurtured through many months
I am always in him should the cruel gods of fate win

Never forget me or the life we had
