My Love

My Love

A Poem by Rebecca Josephina

My love,
Ignore their cutting words.
Ignore their envious, icy words.
For they are merely jealous,
That the Lord has not yet blessed them with a love like ours.
My love,
Please don't worry.
We will see each other when you get back.
By the time we are in each others arms again,
it will feel like seconds that we were apart.
My love,
Please don't cry.
Of course I love you!
Please, never doubt that.
My love,
Please don't leave.
Please don't pack your life into cardboard boxes,
and leave me with these harsh people,
Alone.
My love,
Please, just hold me.
Please, just kiss me until we are taken away.
Kiss me enough for all of the moments that I felt lonely and unloved.
Fit your fingers with mine,
For when we do,
It is a masterpiece beyond anything Picasso could have painted.
When you whisper to me,
and tell me you love me,
It is more exquisite then any word Shakespeare ever wrote.
My love,
Please, smile, for me.
Please never lose that smile.
That
mischievous smile.
Until we see each other again,
My love,
Let me stay, your love.

About
The most important thing on this entire planet to me is my family. I'm a simple person: I'd be perfectly content with iced tea, green grass, and the warm sun. I'm still wondering how to be happy, .. more..
