What Can I Do?


My heart and my spirit grow weary and weak
There are so many faces filled with anger and hate.
My heart cries out for those who need to be free
Why are they blinded to truth, love and peace?
I long for world to feel the presence of your love
A hope, peace and joy that only comes from above.
What can I do Lord? What can I say?
It's my desire, teach me your ways.
May your love shine through me for others to see
More of you Jesus and less of me.
Lead me, guide me, Your will be done,
All the glory will be given to The Father and The Son

Your poem "What can I do" does speak a beleiver's heart felt.sentiments but only through the portal of God's Spirit for this is His voice and breath of life. What can we do? Frustrating I know when we are in the midst of a world struggling with death's imprint and is a God who is in control somehow........ Jesus is Lord! ...............................Kathy.

I've not one religious bone in my body, never felt the need. However this doesn't stop me enjoying faith based poetry and enjoy this I did. Just wish the rhyme scheme was throughout
