Just As I Am

Just As I Am

A Poem by Becky

I am a wounded heart
I come on bended knee
Bruised by life’s cruelties
Tossed on the open sea
I've lost so many years
Trying to please man
Now I seek the face of One
Who accepts me
Just As I Am.

Becky,
"Just As I Am" was beautiful. Our very desires to love and be loved shows our vulnerability. I believe this is God's very imprint and we were made to be in union and unbroken fellowship with God. Your poem was inspiring and uplifting to my soul. Great poem and so true! Bless you. kathy
