Beautiful MomentsA Poem by BeckyBoodlesWhat's it about? You tell me. Just something that created itself as I wrote. It's those beautiful moments-- the spaces between the whispers, when the sky connects with earth: it's the rain, tip-tapping on the ocean waves. That silence filling your already too-full soul.
that immensity---
Why does it seem to spill out the edges? Nothing but surface tension keeping the chaos from taking over.
(Just silly words, trying in vain to make reality out of foolish ambitions.)
When will one learn that oppression is ceaseless; even, in a morbid way, divine? Sacredness cannot be compressed into a chalice, a plate, a symbol-- sacredness obliterates, creates oneness out of the nothingness that is individuality.
I'm screaming!
Those beautiful moments, made almost painful by such cruel benediction--
take this blessing away. I prefer my lie. © 2010 BeckyBoodlesReviews
