Dear AwkwardA Chapter by Becky LawrenceSorry, but you can't take hints well...
We sit on the bench, staring off into space. It is freezing outside, and I mean frigid. So what do I say? 'Damn, it's cold.' You continue babbling about the Companion Cube, and I listen, laughing at the little jokes.
You pause for a moment before speaking again. 'What the hell? Are you cold or something? I can hear your teeth chattering from over here...' I speak between the shivers. 'Freezing. Are you warm?' And I scoot closer. HINT HINT BUDDY! 'I'm actually pretty cold... I have poor circulation...' You wiggle your fingers in front of my face. Face-palm. Maybe I should be blunt next time and just say to you 'I'm kind of cold right now, give me a damn hug you moron.' © 2011 Becky LawrenceAuthor's Note
