Mirage

Mirage

A Poem by Becky Kilsby
"

Octain

"

Natalya flicks her henna’d hips
unveils a sheisha melody
gyrates a chinking harmony

Natalya ripples tingling dips
froths musky dreams, oasis streams
full- blooming sandscaped YouTube scripts.

Oud-throated lust-grained litany:
Natalya whirls her henna’d hips.

Love this Becky. I hadn't realized we can have our own page on here!
I thought the name was spelt Natalia, though names can be spelt any old way.
I think 'You Tube' would be more effective written 'Utube' as on the site.
You've really caught the flavour of the Middle East, you have a knack for that and the final couplet is standout good.

Great octain Becky, you really excel at these short forms selecting just the right word to convey your intended meaning. Love the movement in this one and those YouTube scripts...how true.
