Creator's Sense of Humor

A Poem by Rebecca Leigh

Creator's Sense of Humor
Is it possible to be relationally cursed?
I think so,
I think that's me.
It is all about timing,
And my timing is always severely off.
It is so easy for others,
having a connection,
building a relationship.
Hell with the process,
I envy those who can just jump in,
On a leap of faith.
Those who love without fear,
Those are the blessed,
unfortunately I do not belong to such group.
I get in my head, subconsciously, and consciously,
Nothing will ever work out,
so I run away from happiness,
tired fatiqued, weary from running,
I just want to stop,
To give in,
To stop thinking so much,
the naive are treasures.

Sometimes being naive is okay. Lack of knowledge lead us to trouble waters.
"To give in,
To stop thinking so much,
the naive are treasures."
Sometime wiser to know the truth and go forward. I enjoyed the poem. Left something for the reader to think about. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
