Breaking Loose

Breaking Loose

A Poem by Rebecca Leigh

Walking on eggshells,
There is an untold truth, so palpable
Must be buried within both our hearts,
We are growing up and apart,
The patterns are apparent,
but hardest to face.
Quality trumps duration,
But the quality is declining.,
So rapidly, my senses are dizzy.
Some things are meant to cease,
And i feel my devotion waning-halting-dragging to a stop.
Congratulations:
Your plan to push me away was a success.
I'm no longer being cautious or evasive,
Ill be here if you need a friend,
But no where to the same degree.
I'm done, I am free!

Last few lines have re-conquer the depth of "infatuation" or may be, the "love". Night never comes alone for the breath of peace... it comes with aches, pain and silent sighs of spirits but when as the sun kissed up the doorway of sky, everything goes faded away to the sea-shore of life. Nice imagery.
