F-R-I-E-N-D-S

A Poem by Rebecca Leigh

I admit i do idolize them,
hoist them up on a pedestal most high.
My respect for them grows:
more and more with little time.
They are accepted within my heart,
And my eyes see past all their flaws.
even if it ends with a sever,
They were my teachers'.
My professors of life.
A guiding force of whats right and wrong.
They become my family,
Instantly,
As strong a connection as Blood,
sometimes thicker.
I open my heart; Completely,
And I would do anything for them,
even if I have to make personal concessions.
I continuously grow and mold,
Take shape into a different me,
I tend to steal roles, and take on characteristics,
I am a chameleon,
Each person offering up an experience,
or influence,
changing me good or bad,
A piece of them attaches to my heart and I carry them forever.

Friends`re, yea .. the real "teachers". They teach us the new chapters of life.. that`s all what we must learn from `em. They let our hearts value the tears. They let our mind focusing on past. They become a cause of rain so, the pain but for the happiness either (if we got true friends.) So, yeah.. good or bad, no matter! What does matter is ... what we learn from `em and how they shown us their faces. Friends work in both ways--as a worst foe and as a true friend. Nice imagery. Liked the poem.
