Must love ivory towers!

Must love ivory towers!

A Poem by Salar Majak
"

just readXD

"

i'll lie down for a while,
pretend that time has stopped,
eternity is mine..

i want to stop the watches,
all the world's clocks,
it doesn't exist, time.

Travel around the universe,
see the beautiful wonders,
the world, what it hides!

enjoy every drop of rain,
that makes a little melody,
as it falls from the sky...

free myself from boundries,
my spirit has no limits,
spread my wings and fly...

would you consider me crazy,
if i go like this for ever?
do i even care?

the world is my play ground
sun shining all night long,
and when i want, it rains...

we're all in this together,
don't believe me? close your eyes,
sink to your sacred place....

spend hours in your ivory tower,
amidst the things you love the most,
do you even dare?

pretend! for in our gloomy days,
dreams are the only havens,
where we can really be safe...

dream instead of crying
for the world's wars of misery,
sleep till this madness ends,
keep dreaming..
will it end?

Author's Note

Salar Majak
i know that it's not healthy to stay in your ivory tower, away from the world, but it does make you more relaxed, easy. just a point of view :)
enjoy

Sighed and smiled reading your words. What joys do we lose while crawling through the mud and mire? And how if more could walk into their dreams for awhile, and see what's truly of value; these sacred towers of light. I wish this for a world that seems to live in shadows, in endless sorrows. Dreams, sweet dreams.

A great idea expertly portrayed....I think we all suspend time when we write and I know that I drift into some surreal and wonderful world that knows nothing of this fast paced train of existence we are all forced to ride upon..Well done
