My death wish

My death wish

A Poem by Salar Majak

Weep not for my death my friends
don't let it all be in vain,
live your life to the very most,
fear not to go insane.

This war has already killed me,
and yes, mybody is gone.
but like a bird i'llalways soar,
gently hover over your hearts,
guarding you from every harm,
burning to light your darkened road.

Weep not for my death my friends,
for from thislife i had my share,
weep not for my death my friends
for death, is the end of all.

I'm almost hesitant to click your poems sometimes because they are the toughest little moments of gorgeous poetry and in some cases..... darkest hours!! Beautiful poem. Ridiculous how you pull this off when in such a state of chaos, but maybe like you.... my mind just reacted to things at times. Your pen.... lol What is more important when you need to write!! lol Oh, Aurora!! All your friends on WC are going to dehydrate with your poems draining us of our salts and tears!! Beautiful poem..... is it ever any other way with you, Aurora?!! My friend, good luck tomorrow!! You will be in my thoughts to make sure you arrive safely, and hopefully we get to hear somehow, how you are and what you see!! : ) xoxo -Your Mark

This piece is beautiful. Why was there a cannonball? It''s these scary incidents that wake you, they are your deepest nightmares and yet they are not even dreams. While I'm curious as to why you even had to see such a thing, I'm sure there has to be some logical reason. Of course, the world is getting less and less logic filled as we speak. So sad...

This particular section was absolutely beautiful! The imagery you used left me smiling, remembering those who are dead now. Things kill, it's the sad way of life. We must join together as one to defeat all evil, even though most evil is right in our midst. Nicely penned.
Best regards,
Dell

I won't accept this work. Dying is too easy for someone like you. You will be the great observor of this war and when it is over, it will be your voice giving these days substance and putting it on the social conscience of humanity. No more about dying, young lady. You are a survivor and you will be heard.
