Ghost of You

Ghost of You

A Poem by Becca

The ghost of you haunts me.

Are you trying to tell me something?

Or is my mind playing tricks on me?

The ghost of you is taunting me,

Trying to make me come forward  with truth.

I did not do this to you.

You did this to me.

So the ghost of you, is all fake.

I do not see you, nor sense your presence.

Yet I sense others, all around.

Other victims of your assault.

So why is your spirit sending them to me?

I cannot help them.

Or can I? Is that why you are sending them to me?

Heavens of angels cannot be reached.

The ghost of you pushes me

To do something I never thought I could.

Thank you for showing me my true path.

The ghost of you, thank you.

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
