Let Go

Let Go

A Poem by Becca

In my arms, forever more.

Don't ever let go of us.

We are whole, as one of two halves.

Don't let go of the faith.

We will find a way to be together.

In your arms, forever more.

Half empty glass, or half full cup?

That's how I feel when you are not here.

Don't brush away our love.

For once, we can be together.

No judgment, no rips or tears.

Don't ever let go of what we have.

Forever in my arms, forever in yours.

I'm holding on to the truth we bare.

Holding on, holding on.

Yet you are slipping away.

Forever more?

No, no more.

You are gone.

I am torn.

How could you let go?

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
