Life In Progress

Life In Progress

A Poem by Becca

Life in progress.

That's what you would call my life.

Still in motion.

No clue what I want to do.

People always tell me,

You need to grow up,

Stop acting like a child.

Well maybe that's just the stage I'm in.

I'm still in progress.

Trying to figure out what it is

That makes the world tick.

Going through the motions.

Spinning like crazy.

Round and round I go.

Just like a merry-go-round.

My life is still in progress.

So stop telling me what to do.

I will go on my way when I'm ready.

My life in progress.

Still in motion.

No clue what to do.

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
