Grievance

Grievance

A Poem by Becca

I'm sinking,

I'm falling,

I'm drowning in your memories.

I cry every time I think of you.

I miss you.

I love you.

You were my all.

I can no longer listen to that song.

It makes me cry even more.

Your birthday,

Your death date.

They are painful dates,

Followed with a trip to your grave.

I'm teetering on an edge.

An edge of sorrow,

An edge of fate,

An edge of my downfall.

I'm drowning in memories.

I'm sinking in pain.

Soon I will join you,

Just now is my time

To grieve and live.

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
