Laughter in the Air

Laughter in the Air

A Poem by Becca

There's a laughter in the air.

Look, look.

Laughter of little kids.

Happiness is in the air.

Look, look, over there.

A dark figure laughing maniacally.

So tall, so frightening.

Look away, look away.

Your eyes will catch on fire!

Do you hear that?

Kids are no longer laughing,

Everything stands still in shock.

The figure points a finger, sets things on fire.

Yet no one can move.

Look, look.

Bad things happen every time you look.

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
