Storm

Storm

A Poem by Becca

A flash of light,
A crack of wood,
Down comes a pole connected to power lines.
Another flash, followed by a boom.
Wind strikes high,
Flying garbage and loud noises.
A storm is approaching... fast.
Flashes of lightening... and clashing of thunder.
Houses shake, power goes out.
This is a storm... with too much power.
Trees go down, children cry.
A tunnel of wind and water form,
Taking everything in it's path.
This storm has too much power.
This storm has too much power.......

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
