The Purple Dinosaur Incident

This is a poem about what actually happened in my life when I was four.

It was my favorite toy at the age of four.

With its purple color and green spots,

Shaped like a a dinosaur from a tv show.

Yes, it was Barney.

I remember carrying him everywhere I went.

Up to the store and around the house.

He went everywhere.

But one day I found something different about him.

There was gum on his left foot.

I cried to my mom and yelled at my sister.

I knew my sister did it.

She's the only in the house that chewed gum at the time.

 Of course she denied it, like always.

So as an angry four year old,

I decided to get revenge.

My sister was fixing the tv.

I snuck behind the large heavy television,

And pushed with all my might.

The tv fell on her and broke as I laughed my butt off.

My sister screamed for help.

Mom rushed in and pulled what was left of the tv off of her.

I got grounded for a few days after that,

but it was worth it.

I never liked Barney after that,

But I still say it was worth it!
