RocksA Poem by BeccaThe flow of the stream sets a way, setting free the loose rocks, stuck to the bottom with no life. They are neighbors through and
through. Splashing against them like a weak
wave, flowing over and past rocks dug into
the ground. Each one has its unique personalities, setting them apart even though they
share a home. Rocks are a family living in a river when loosened, they make a new home further along the water until at last They stand their ground. Rocks repeat the moving over and over
again. It seems as if they are telling a
story, each time they are moved. The flow of the river and stream sets
a way for rocks to live freely. © 2011 Becca |
