Sweet Nothings

Sweet Nothings

A Poem by Becca

You whisper sweet nothings,
Straight into my ear.
Yeah, it's filled with empty promises.
So many empty promises.
Whispering more into my ear,
Trying to fill my head with lies.
Sweet nothings,
That's all it is.
Yeah, you're full of empty promises.
I hold my breathe,
Waiting for it to stop,
As to not laugh in spite.
Whisper in my ear,
Yeah, just one more time.
Go ahead and keep trying,
Trying to fill my head of nothing.

About
I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
