Waiting For You

I don't go a night,

Without thinking of you.

Not a day passes by,

That you aren't on my mind.

I smile in contentment,

Thinking about the future.

How, every time I think about it,

You are always there.

Things may be tough,

Things may get rough,

But I am always here for you.

I am always patiently waiting.

Not a minute goes by,

That I didn't wish you were here.

It's times like these,

With all the hoping and wishing and waiting,

That I feel like curling up and crying.

Because our future is so near,

Yet so far away.

And I don't want to wait any longer.

I want you here and now.

I want to be a part of your future.
