Jumbled Thoughts

Jumbled Thoughts

A Poem by Becca

My thoughts are jumbled.
I can't write without going in a different direction.
Almost every time,
It never fails.

One word, one distraction,
And I'm spinning toward a new attraction.
Thoughts and words jumble together.

Once again,
Making me seem incoherent.
Even with jumbled thoughts...

Uhhhh, I lost my train of thought.
It never fails.
Backspace is my best friend.
Writing and jumbled thoughts...

Not always a good thing.
But none the less,
Some amazing work can be written.

And then again,
Just like my train of thought...
They will make no sense.

"One word, one distraction/ And i'm spinning toward a new attraction"

damn that is a great line...wish i had written it...
the entire poem is a wonderfully presented metaphor for the confusion writing sometimes brings to us...as the muse plays her games.

I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
