Cut

Cut

A Poem by Becca

`Take a deep cut,
Let the pain wash away.
Release it all,
With a simple cut.
Be careful, too deep can kill you.
And one small cut can addict you.
Tiny little scars, a big reminder of why.
Why you did what you did.
So take that deep cut.
Go ahead.
Let the pain ooze out.
Let all your worries seep on out.
Stare at the blood pouring from your arm.
Take a deep breath and feel the relief.
Nothing can help you once you start.
It's a nasty habit.
So take that deep cut,
You have been warned

I'm 23 and I write poems to keep me sane. Poems are my way of getting out how I feel. When I'm upset, I tend to write more. But there are times where I will get randomly inspired and write something c.. more..
