Matthew had a great birthday, there was even a present for me. Matthew started walking and inspired me to write this poem

This is absolutely a lovely poem, it's so simple, yet I could detect your love for him.
I loved it, great job. And the rhyming scheme definitely adds a sort of nursery rhyme feel to it.
