Suicide Me

Suicide Me

A Poem by Alicia Hirshey

Mark my arms
Nothing but hate
I am giving up
You wouldn't care anyway
Lash out
Marked as a fight
You'll still be breathing at the end of the night
How should I do it?
The thoughts flow through my veins
Fast and Easy?
Or
Slow and Riddled with pain?
Suicidal differences
Cast shadows on my grave
Will you be there?
Or
Will you keep the rumors coming my way?
When I'm dead
Will you rest in ease then?
Or
Will you keep longing?
Piling thoughts in their heads?
Your lies can be mistaken
But still you drove me away
Sitting back
You enjoyed this sick game
I forgave you once
Ignorance was my plea
You never cared
The hurt you caused me.
Push me further
I'm on the ledge
One step back
And finally I'll be dead.
