Little Girl Nothing

Little Girl Nothing

A Poem by Alicia Hirshey

Little girl nothing
Nights spent alone
Nobody will love her
not sense her scars began to show

Little girl nothing
Hides behind the pain
Slowly closes her eyes
Hoping for happier days

Little girl changeling
A long shot from black
Hides away her pain
leaves it in her past

Angry drama queens
Shoved it in her face
Not to much longer
Until her transformation puts them in their place

New self now showing
Finding the hope within herself
Little girl nothing
she had nobody but herself

Little girl nothing
Turned away from the pain
She saved herself
That warm summer day

I really like how your poems usually have a quote with them. Anyways, back to the actual poem :P.
I could relate so much to this. My favorite stanza was the fourth.

This was a great poem many could relate to, the quote picture you put in is actually one of my favorite quotes that i live by. You did pick something many people could relate to, which is great actually. One of my first reads of yours so i'd like to see more greatness. (=
