Collision Of Fate

Collision Of Fate

A Poem by Alicia Hirshey

At different states in our lives, the signs of love may vary: dependence, attraction, contentment, worry, loyalty, grief, but at the heart, the source is always the same. Human beings have the rare capacity to connect with each other, against all odds.”~Love Quotes
~*~*~

Star’s align

Let fate decide
How our worlds collide
~*~
Dramatic uproar
Sounds of the shore
Dreams lap at our feet
Hold them high
Reach for the sky
Nobody will take your place
~*~
Anger outbursts
You’ll never play nice
Make the way
It’s paved with ice
Hold on to nothing
I hold him dear
I won’t let you
Take him from here
~*~
Mind games take place
People lie to your face
Hold it within
Let nothing take this away
Dream of dreams
This is  more than it may seem
~*~
Hide behind nothing
Stand there bare
Shine down the glory
Who has brought you here
Mother of many
Glory for some
Where will you be?
The day has come
~*~
Battle the flowers
Tremendous gaze
Fight fire with fire
Keep in touch with the days
Holding together
As they pull us down
Hide away
Beating the crowd
~*~
Running from nothing
Walking to it
Holding the ring
Don’t replace it
Memory fade
As many hates raise
Shelter the matter
This is happily ever after
~*~
Star’s align
Let fate decide
How our worlds collide

The independence and passion of desire is amazing in this. I can really imagine everything that is literally colliding with each other. The title says it all, an amazing job, excellent write :)

this poem is really deep...fate is something- a concept which differs from person to person and which we cant help but get taken in its maelstrom...very deep poem if you search for answers in each and every verse you have written...

I love the imagery in this write and the reference to the stars. I found myself imagining the battle of the flowers. Awesome use of words Ali.
