Savior SerenityA Poem by Alicia Hirsheyhttp://www.writerscafe.org/MermaidScars http://www.writerscafe.org/OliveMistCradleHeartfelt cries Sighs in the night Standing firm Never lose sight Moaning alone Setting the tone Fighting this plight Surrender to nothing Giving up inside ~*~ Savior of serenity This savior still bleeds Helping effortlessly Fading away Falling down Still having needs Helping many They turn away Where they truly there Or easy to stray ~*~ Helping many Troubles never unheard Inspire many Take advantage of her Fighting the demons She wants to resist Not giving in Pitching their fits ~*~ Blood runs down Fills her paper with ink Will anyone save her Even me? Emotions are plenty Disaster takes flight Ending the battle But not wanting to end her life ~*~ Truthful longing Forgeries to fit Taking her words Twisting, turning dismantling it Killing with words Anger with no need Bashing somebody Who needs them to see ~*~ Heretic harassment Words unfit Hopelessly judging Never seeing if the words fit Satanic liars Fly by night Killing with sin Taking everything in sight ~*~ Savior of serenity This savior still bleeds Helping effortlessly Fading away Falling down Still having needs Helping many They turn away Where they truly there Or easy to stray © 2011 Alicia HirsheyAuthor's Note
