Mindless drones
Running freely
Killing many away
Thoughtless chatter
Weapons decay
In our minds
We run away
Is there escape
From hell’s faith

Mind control powers
They want to take over you life
Conform to their power
Give up your fight
Life is not yours
It’s a gift in itself
But who will save us
We are living in a cell

One greater nation
Is that what we show
Killing another
Taking homes
Mindless conformity

We cannot give in to the likes of others who want you to think that you are a horrible writer. You are one of the best I know. You shouldn't be so down on yourself. Break free of your mind chains and let the true you show. In the end, You will not believe the magic that will unfold.

A stunning write! Such determination and inspiration burst from this poem. A flow of hatred and independence was also portrayed thoroughly. This poem reminds me of a series I read called "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. A fight for freedom, and the wrath of nation's glory. Very powerful write! :)

"Puppet on strings, I'm going to cut free," many forms of this phrase has been used in so many of my poems. I love the though of it. Puppets taking control and butterflies seem to hold a special place in my writing. Great write.
