Amazing acting Presidential glory Killing a terrorist perfect irony Man of power Great in sight Without him America would have given up the fight * Stupidity is to blame How can we let him take this fame? He never let office He just hid there American soldiers Where glory belongs Instead of placing it On this stupid tyrant * Glory will not be given Where it isn’t due I refuse to believe He had anything to do He was just in office What makes you placing this glory okay Your losing your mind
Obama killed Osama? Seriously? Are you stupid? First off, Obama had nothing to do with the death of this terrorist, Our Troops had everything to do with it. Obama just happened to be the man in office when it happened. I am sorry but I will not give glory where glory is not due.

Intense poem. I can definitely feel your anger and rage. Through I can't say that this one one of my favorite poem by you, not because of your opinion or anything like that but rather I simply have no love for politics. What I do like is your passion for what you believe in and the way that you voiced it. Its coincidental that I read your poem today because in poetry class we were just talking about this. In my opinion I don't believe any glory should be given for the death of Osama. Not to the president or anyone else. Do not get me wrong though I commend the troops for their job and protecting us, just so I make that clear. However the don't believe there should be any glory in his death because I feel as if it would have been better to take him alive. By killing him in the manner they did they just started the cycle of 9/11 all over again. The US has given the terrorist a valid reason i.e revenge to attack the US. By killing Osama they have done more harm then good....but taking my own personal views out, the feelings of this poem grip the reader and consumes them. I especially like the first line of the second stanza "Stupidity is to blame". That speaks true on some many levels that don't just deal with the false glory given to president Obama. The poem is moving and the last line is a great conclusion...I wish we all could see the game played by the government.
I loved this, you got your point across so perfectly.
Also, since we're on the topic of Osama, am I the only one who finds our country to be insanely hypocritical? So, our enemy kills American people, and, since they don't like us, they celebrate. And we criticize them and call them bad people. So then we just kill them back (even though killing others is extremely frowned upon in America) and celebrate like crazy.
Now, I'm not saying that Osama should not have died. I'm merely stating that I don't think it's something to be celebrated. All the fathers who held their children high upon their shoulders at baseball games when they find out are setting a horrible example for their children, because they're acting as if killing another person is horrible. I'm not a terrorist. I'm not anti-America, or whatever you want to call it. I just believe that no matter how horrible a person is, no matter how much they deserved to die, that their death should not be a celebration.
Do any of the people celebrating realize that this puts the tons of soldiers in the middle-east in horrible danger? My friend's brother was supposed to return home in June -- now he can't come home for many more months. Where's the celebration in that?
If you have any different opinion, feel free to discuss it with me.
Great poem Ali. I love it, and you have a very good point.
Obama didnt kill osama, bush didnt either. Obama is a dumbass as with most politicians. Our soldiers killed the terrorist. Politicians dont do s**t, its our soldiers that have to bath in blood for us. Its ridiculous how stupid people underappreciate and even take credit for what our soldiers do. I hate stupid people... Thanks for writing about this, good job. Favorite!

I agree. You see Obama all over the place taking credit for this, and where the f**k was he? Sitting on his a*s in the White House, waiting to hear the news so he could tell the world and be a hero. He knows that taking credit for Laden's death is about the only thing that will get him re-elected cuz he's fucked up this country so much.
